Dr. Scott Anderson completed certification courses in acupuncture in 1991 and chiropractic medicine in 1993. It has been his goal to integrate these forms of medicine with traditional lameness work and he uses them in conjunction with each other. While hard to believe, Dr. Anderson is able to manipulate and re-align your horse's entire spine and pelvis with a 3 rung step ladder and his bare hands! With acupuncture, he is able to alleviate muscle soreness via the injection of Vitamin B12 through properly placed needles. He has found the combination of these two disciplines to be helpful in assessing and treating the equine athlete.
