Our reproduction center, completed in 2003, was built to provide reproductive services for a wide variety of stallions and broodmares under the direction of David Stanford, DVM, Diplomate ACT.
The collection area was designed to provide a safe and efficient environment for phantom training and stallion collections. An additional stocks room was set up to allow ample room for mares, foals, and equipment.
Adjacent to the collection area and stocks room is our reproductive lab. The location allows for quick and efficient processing of semen and embryos as well as culture and cytology samples.

- Mare/Foaling services
- Phantom training
- Collection and shipment of cooled semen
- Semen freezing and storage
- Breeding soundness exams for stallions and mares
- Infertility workups for stallions and mares
- Mare management for shipped semen (frozen and cooled)
- Embryo transfer
- Embryo Vitrification (Cryopreservation)

 Foaling Services
In 2007, Woodside Equine Clinic began offering in clinic assisted foaling services to our clients with pregnant mares. Mares are housed in our new barn extension and are monitored 24 hours a day not only by our staff, but also by cameras mounted in each stall. This ensures that the foaling will be attended and that if problems arise, they will be dealt with swiftly by our staff veterinarians. Pre-foaling exams are performed on the mare and both the mare and newborn are examined post-foaling.
