Dr. Katherine Burke graduated from the Virginia - Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. Since graduation, Dr. Burke has completed several continuing education classes in ultrasound and lameness and continues to be very interested in this field. In addition to lameness, her main veterinary interests include preventative and emergency medicine.  In February 2011, Dr. Burke completed Animal Chiropractic school.     

In her spare time, Dr. Burke enjoys eventing and trail riding her horse, Paris. Together with her husband, Bruce Johnson, Dr. Burke also helps to manage their farm.  Dragonfly Farms is located in Beaverdam, VA where they board retired and lay-up horses, raise grass-fed beef, pastured eggs and a keep a few pet fainting goats. Please visit www.dragonflyfarmandplants.com to see pictures of their farm.
