She is looking forward to joining a larger practice as well as getting to know the Richmond area. Dr. Burke took her first horseback riding lesson at the age of six. After failure as ballerina, pianist, gymnast and soccer goalie, her family was relieved to see that she held some potential. By age eight she had her heart set on veterinary school and never changed focus. During her off time she still heads straight for the barn. A recent switch from the hunter ring to eventing has presented a whole new set of challenges for her riding hobby. Other than horses, Dr. Burke also enjoys hiking, volleyball, meeting new people and playing with her dog, Noodle.

Miss Missy
CFO - Assistant Miss Missy joined Woodside in March of 2005. Missy assists at many tasks including greeting clients and making sure that we are aptly air-conditioning and/or heating the greater Ashland area for our clients' comfort. She has become an invaluable asset to Woodside, especially during staff meetings at which she takes detailed notes and reports about old business. She can usually be found keeping an eye on various staff members and doctors in any number of hiding places and is always first to let us know when our x-ray envelope supply is running short. Please look for her during your next visit to our clinic, but remember to approach slowly and softly as she is a tad bit shy and very modest about all of her hidden talents. |
