At Woodside Equine Clinic, we recognize that breeding can be an important and meaningful goal for some of our clients. As part of our commitment to our established clients, we partner with mare owners to support thoughtful, responsible breeding decisions, always with your mare’s health, comfort, and long-term fertility as our top priorities.
Our reproductive services are designed to provide a progressive, individualized approach to equine reproduction in a calm, clinic-based setting.
Breeding Services Offered On-Site
The following services are available to established clients at our clinic:
- Breeding Soundness Examinations, including:
- Comprehensive physical examination
- Evaluation of reproductive anatomy
- Vaginoscopy
- Transrectal palpation and ultrasound
- Optional or Indicated Laboratory Testing, such as:
- Uterine cytology
- Uterine culture
- Uterine biopsy
- Artificial Insemination with Cooled Semen
- Pregnancy Checks and Rechecks throughout gestation
- Uterine Treatments, performed as medically indicated
Services Not Currently Offered
At this time, the following reproductive services are not available at Woodside Equine Clinic:
- Stallion collection
- Artificial insemination with frozen semen
- Frozen semen storage
- Foaling services
